fork in the road when choosing hipaa letter?

1. Dispute CA's with CRA's using special Med Dispute Letter: http://whychat.5u.co...cavalhipaa.html
2. Send dispute letter to CA's to document a relationship between the Original Creditor and the CA. Proof of their arrangement to collect for the OC. http://whychat.5u.co...cavalhipaa.html
3. Here is where i get stuck..... it appears there is a fork in the road? either do step A, or step B?
A. Redispute w CRA (if first dispute didn't get it deleted), using the follow-up letter sent CMRR. This should get the entry deleted with no further steps? http://whychat.5u.co...aa.html#DISPUTE
OR
B. Send the LETTER TO HEALTH CARE PROVIDER and send payment in full according to this:
"It will ONLY work if the claim is either INACCURATE, or you remit the valid correct amount due with the letter, and ONLY if you have confirmed a CURRENT relationship between the OC and the CA." http://whychat.5u.com/hipltr.html
So i guess my question is, which step do i take? A or B? or am i supposed to take both? which order? confused....
here is what is showing on my CRA. it seems this Syndicated CA just appeared recently after a successful dispute of the same debt assigned to another CA:
Syndicated Office Systems; Collection Reported 12/2011;

IF YOU NOTICE, this is the same account w 2 different CA's. when i was successful in removing it from one CRA, it just reappeared under the new CA. so I have CFC reporting on 2 CRA's and Syndicated reporting on the 3rd CRA now. so, i fear, no matter if i remove any of them or not, it will just reappear under a new CA. But maybe this answers my question....if i PAY using STEP B, get them deleted, they wont be able to reappear under a new CA?
thanks,
B.

Opt out and get old addresses deleted before disputing. You have completely mixed up the whole process. Send out the initial dispute letters to the CRAs and after you have RESULTS from that come back to THIS thread with your results for further directionsi have been confused about this for a while, and have put off sending my letters. i have unpaid CA accounts for health care. I am willing to pay, but if there is a choice in paying or not paying, maybe i wont pay? the basic steps as I understand them are:
Opt out FIRST and get old addresses deleted if possible BEFORE disputing
http://whychat.5u.com/OPTOUTINST.HTML
1. Dispute CA's with CRA's using special Med Dispute Letter: http://whychat.5u.co...cavalhipaa.html
NO!! THIS is the initial dispute letter to the CRAs-- follow ALL the directions:
http://whychat.5u.com/hipaadisp.html
wait for a response from each CRA before doing anything else, frequently this initial letter is all you need for deletions

Are you wearing an aluminum hat??ok, i'm on pause for a while. what a coincidence. I just got a letter in the mail from experian asking me to confirm 2 new addresses on my credit report. they are both inaccurate and variations of my real address. this has never happened before. I feel like they did this on purpose in retaliation to my heated argument with a representative over other inaccurate addresses just last month!!! basically, i argued with the woman and she slapped me with more inaccurate addresses!!! wth!!!! to make matters worse, i have a permanent security freeze on my files and dont have the pin numbers. so i cant easily dispute it. so i guess im on hold for a while.
The CRAs create enough problems on their own with their automated proccesses without conspiring against any individual person.
If you want to accomplish anything, send your dispute IN WRITING to the CRA, after opting out:
http://www.whychat.5...OPTOUTINST.HTML
Just WRITE a simple letter stating that the following addresses on your report # xxx are not yours and that you are concerned about identity theft. Include proof of your correct address, a copy of your drivers license, a copy of your SS card and an ORIGINAL recent utility bill.

Equifax deleted the 2 addresses that I disputed. However, at the same time, they added my OLD address from many years ago, which of course is tied to a judgement and who knows how many other tradelines. I had it deleted once before!!
Transunion ignored my request and sent me a copy of my credit report instead. "Enclosed is the Transunion Personal Credit Report that you requested."!!!! BSBSBSBSBSBS!!!!!! i havent requested a copy from TU..
Experian also sent a copy of my credit report "I requested". however, I did order a paid copy from them last week. I guess this could be the paid copy and i am still waiting for the disputed addresses.
this is so frustrating. they just keep pushing me in circles.

Check your TU report again. They did the same with me. They sent me the full report, BUT they deleted the old addresses off.

the bad news is that the address i really needed to get deleted, stuck. its a really old address. its funny though, i just this month had experian delete my judgement and it was certainly tied to that old address. so im worried it is going to reappear, and thats why they wont delete it. they just deleted the judgement temporary? im also kinda worried about removing it b/c i think it is tied to my really old student loans which are reporting really good. i rehabbed them a couple years ago and have always been on-time ever since.
so should i worry about this old address? i believe it is tied to one collection account, and then to my good student loans.
yippeee!!!! i do feel like im making a tiny step forward though! i only have 2 old cell phone bills in collections. one with cavalry for $606 (sprint), and one in collections directly with VZW but its really old. i had since had an account with VZW that was closed satisfactorily this month after 2 years!
and then i have one medical account i am getting ready to attack hipaa style....
thats EX. the other ones are worse:( but one thing at a time. thats what im learning. slow and steady.....

you are right...i was kinda wondering. they leave it so vague. they didnt say 'here are the results', they just sent a new report and there was no 'other addresses' field. i compared an eariler report with the latest one, and it made sense.
WhyChat:
so, i have deleted all old addresses except the one on EX.
Now I am ready to send this: http://whychat.5u.com/hipaadisp.html
i have the cash set aside to pay this account when you instruct me.
Thanks,
B

I am mailing the initial dispute to the CRA's in 15 minutes...I am sending a separate dispute letter for each CA on my reports to each CRA. http://whychat.5u.com/hipaadisp.html
Im worried about when/if to pay, so please let me know when i get to that point.
Thank you so much WhyChat. i feel i have finally made a little progress over the past month.

You do NOT need to send a separate letter to each CRA for each CA account!!
You just LIST all the medical accounts you are disputing as they appear on each report .

too late...I was wondering, that's why i wrote it. i tried to follow the steps, but i think i analyze to much! I hope that doesnt screw anything up, sending that way? i guess it gives them 2 separate 30 day periods to answer? It was only EQ that got 2 letters. the rest only got 1 b/c there is only one med ca on them.
thanks

i go in the backdoor and it shows both of the disputes complete. one complete on the 20th, and the other complete on the 22nd. and both show "mailed". when i look at my report, it appears that one of the accounts is now gone. but the other account (biggest) is still reporting.
Is there a chance that they will both be gone when i get the letters in the mail? is the report i viewed, based on the report # i entered? or is it a "live" report?
I havent heard a peep from TU or EX yet. will keep on waiting before i take the next step...
thx,
b

still no response from EX or TU. i guess they are gonna wait the full 30. There was only that one main CA for $600 reporting on these CRAs.

i cant help it. i honestly sense a pattern but can't put my finger on exactly what it is. there are just too many coincidences in this credit repair thing. i just got the response from EQ that they verified, and holy moly, coincidentally, I havent heard a peep from EX and TU but as soon as i get my VERIFIED, now they note this account as under investigation. The letters were all sent at the same time, over a week ago. It just feels like they are all cooperating w each other and they were waiting to see what EQ did....tell me im crazy.

now TU has me locked out of the backdoor and in a never ending loop. Cant view my status. but im sure TU will/did follow suit.

But the original dispute letter asks for this:
"If you can obtain this information, I also would need the name of the person providing this data, and the manner in which it was provided in order that I may pursue additional legal remedies which may include a complaint against your agency to the OCR on HIPAA violations."
Yet i have received nothing but "verified" form letters. Why don't they provide this info? here is the account from TU:

WhyChat, should i proceed to the next step? All 3 have verified. I AM CONCERNED THAT TU AND EX HAVE THIS ACCOUNT WITH CFC, BUT EQ HAS IT WITH SYNDICATED. I FEAR THEY ARE GOING TO PLAY A SHELL GAME WITH THIS ACCOUNT BACK AND FORTH. is this correct next step?:
2. Send dispute letter to CA's to document a relationship between the Original Creditor and the CA. Proof of their arrangement to collect for the OC. http://whychat.5u.co...cavalhipaa.html
Thank you WhyChat.

Central Finance Control with a Dallas, TX address
and
Central Financial Control with a Anaheim, CA address
Do i need to do anything special? obviously i need to send the next letter in the series to the correct addresses.
these jerks are sneaky. I swear its a conspiracy!

The CA's Syndicated and Central "Finance" Control both have the SAME PO Box!!!:
EQ:
SYNDICATED OFFICE SYSTEMS
Agency Address: PO Box 660873
Dallas, TX 75266-0873
(214) 387-6455
and
TU:
CENTRAL FINANCE CONTROL #xxx****
PO BOX 660873
DALLAS, TX 75266
(888) 233-7880
then to add to the confusion:
EX:
CENTRAL FINANCIAL CONTROL
Address:
PO BOX 66051
ANAHEIM, CA 92816
(800) 345-4261
PLEASE help me so i don't screw this up!! there is definitely some game going on with shell companies or something beyond my understanding. wont they just swizzle the account around through the 3 different CA's and swap reporting CRA's?

anybody know how to handle these dirtbags?
in my next correspondence (waiting for instruction from whychat), would it be ok to add something like this?:
PS. I am aware of the connection between CFC and SOS. I am also aware of your illegal collection tactics.

Have you sent the medical DV??Im digging up more and more info on these scumbags. Syndicated is the Parent company of Central financial control. or is it central FINANCE control? there are several addresses and which is which and who is who is confusing. they recently had a class action lawsuit against them for unfair collection practices.
anybody know how to handle these dirtbags?
in my next correspondence (waiting for instruction from whychat), would it be ok to add something like this?:
PS. I am aware of the connection between CFC and SOS. I am also aware of your illegal collection tactics. Useless
http://www.whychat.5...cavalhipaa.html
Have you sent the follow up dispute to the CRAs??
http://www.whychat.5...aa.html#DISPUTE
If so, file an FTC complaint against each CRA(s) and one against the CA. Send copies of the filed disputes to each CRA with the FTC file # appended( save the dispute BEFORE clicking enter)

I figured that was what i need to send next. I have the DV's to the CA's addressed in envelopes, ready to mail. on way to post office momentarily. they are PO boxes so NO return receipt.
So now i gotta wait for a response from the CA or wait 30 days for NO response right?
Then send the followup to the cra's....
THANK YOU WHYCHAT!!!
