Can anyone help me find a savings account that does not require a credit pull, to open? I have around 30K + will be putting away almost 3K a month, till I can purchase a condo and get my business up and running. I'm waiting on a short sale to fall through or for new properties to come onto the market. It will take at least another 2 months before I will need the money.

I don't want to change my direct deposit and also don't want to have to do debit transactions etc.. I just want something with few to no restrictions.....

Discover Bank doesn't do a hard pull, as far as I know (they didn't with me or any of my friends), and they offer around 1% APY right now.

No requirements, either.

a quick google search is showing that Discover may pull a hard. How long ago, did you apply? Maybe this is a new regulation...

I really really have to make sure there aren't any new inquiries, as I will be applying for a mortgage soon... I have a bunch from my Oct mega app spree...

Ally Bank didn't pull a hard on me when I opened a Money Market Savings Account in August.

Glad to see you were able to get set up with Discover without a pull. To answer the previous question, for others who may read this; I opened my account with them earlier this year (March, I believe). No hard pull then, and it seems no hard pull now.

They may pull a hard if they don't like what they see on ChexSystems (they pulled that for me, and softed EQ).
