Anyone have the telephone number to check the status of your application?

Nope. That is just a general info call. There is an automated number you can call to check the status of the app. That is the number I am looking for.

Thanks to all that have outlined their experiences obtaining and using the Palladium card. After reading about the card for many months, based on the feedback here (and on Flyertalk), I decided to apply. The card arrived in late April a day AFTER I headed off on a trip to Europe. I didn't get to try out any of its features until my return--I've since given it some gentle use. I've also been in touch with the concierge for a few 'challenging' assignments that are still pending. Overall we'll see how it goes but I'm hopeful this will be my 'go to' credit card. I also picked up the companion plastic version to discourage potentially overly enthusiastic eyes and hands from being foolish.

For those that are interested: No PB relationship, though I have received a couple of calls now from local branch, presumably to discuss a PB or PC relationship. I'll meet with them this weekend. Credit scores in the 710-750 range depending on whether you're looking at FICO or FAKO scores, nice six figure income, no baddies, utilization in the 20% range. Hope that helps those that are on the fence. My guess is that Chase takes many factors into account and no one thing is going to tip the scale in your favor--or vice-versa.

Not that I know of. That would seem to run counter to their relationship with United. However anything is possible I suppose if we continue to ask/press. I've kept my Amex Platinum for this very reason. Still don't know if I really need a Citi AAdvantage card.

So I know they received the application today, even though I faxed it over yesterday afternoon. Said I will be notified on their decision within 2 weeks.

Happy to say I was approved for 25k! Hey, that rhymes. No one from the bank called me though. I just checked the auto system. However, it did say I should had received the card by now, so not sure about that one.

I still haven't received a HW gift card from Palladium. Not sure if it's because I joined past the gift giving time period (if there is one) or if it's because I'm not doing any significant spend on the Pd card (I'm currently maxing out spend on a Citi card with a a 6 month 5 Thank you points per dollar spend promotion on my Citi card)

You think I should call customer service or concierge to ask for it? Or is that too classless Posted Image

Are you actually going to use it? Being that the cheapest thing there is around 4,000. It's tied into being used with a Palladium card so it's basically non transferrable either. I signed up a little after you and I didn't get it either.

IIRC, was told it posts when the next statement cuts. I only wished it was 35K for every 100K

Sniper, good luck! If you dont mind me asking, what do your scores look like? Any previous cards with Chase? I want to apply, but I just got CSP, so I think I"ll wait 6 months to build some history with them. Please keep us informed of your status.

Here's my situ, I really have all the credit I need at this moment, util is a bit high at 40% but I wasn't intending to get new credit and choose to get some tangible things and do some stuff and it's all at 0%. My FICO's are just over 700.. This app is a hail marry before the door slam sealed.

I had some bumps and scrapes with Chase 5+ years ago, but I paid them every dime I owed them.

I learned of my approval via email from the banker who I submitted it to last fall. if you are denied, I recommend calling the above number (not chase credit card services) and plead your case. :)

confirming, the 35k bonus posts in the statement where you spend crosses the 100k threshold.
