I have 12.5% UTIL, 1 INQ, AAoA = 6.4 and I'd guess around 650-660 TU score. Any scientific guesses? :D

Applying online or in store?

On-line or nothing for me because I hate going to these stores with enormous parking lots that are always full. I don't really even care about the limit since I won't be using the card. :P

With an online application, I would guess you'd get a 300-400 credit limit at opening.

My score through Walmart is almost 100 points less (682 to 591) than the the score I paid for from myfico last month! :( Amyone else experience this kind of difference?

Has anyone actually checked their Myfico score after checking their "fico" score from Walmart?

Also appears you have to have paperless statement.. no thank you.. give me paper statements any day.

I'm sorry to be a downer but I'm smelling another fako score service...

Anyone know how likely GEMB will issue a card to someone who has charged off GEMB cards in the past?

I charged off JCP many moons ago and was approved for Amazon last year. I would love to get my TU FICO, but danggggg I don't want this card! Why can't they add this to all their cards? :cry2:

My strategy might be to get the WM Discover instead of the store card. It appears that there are reports of the FICO being available on the Discover as well.

I don't want that either, lol. Unless it's something with rewards that benefits me, I don't want to hurt my poor AAoA. :(

I think this one is worth it. :)

Dangit... I don't really want this card, but if I were to try for it, it would be the Discover flavor of it. Decisions, decisions....

Ok, anyone here who decides to apply really needs to post which bureau they pulled and your limit. I want to see Bob get a $500 100 limit. :P

Fixed it for ya!

Gemb usually pulls Tu.

Whoo hoo, $500. Maybe they have something I can order online, because the nearest store is 25 miles from here.

It must be a real FICO, or Fair Isaac would have sued Walmart for infringement by now. :D

I'm thinkin it's fako... (I could be proven wrong) Why would Fico give Wal-mart exclusive rights? I've only heard of a handful of true fico scores out there.. such as some of the credit unions. It wouldn't be the first time Wal-mart misrepresented something.....Hell even Tu doesn't even offer their own "Fico" score model when you get their score directly from them.

Either that or they haven't heard it yet...

There's screen shots clearly showing the word FICO, which would be a ballsy move on WM/GEMB's part if it wasn't approved by Fair Issac. Fair Issac would have that feature down pretty quickly.

Also, people's scores have mathced their real FICO.

You really have a hard time trusting them, huh? I don't blame you, I hate WalMart with a passion. It's a damn human petting zoo in those places. However, the ones down south seem to be a bit nicer and cleaner.

But, I am willing to put a few ounces of silver on the fact that this is true FICO and not FAKO.

It definitely is a trademarked FICO score, not a fako. WHICH FICO model they are using, is the question.

Nyah.. I just have a hard time w/ anyone saying it's Fico unless it comes from myfico.. or some credit unions I've seen mentioned that are tried and true fico scores...

I think that got converted to a FAKO score a while ago.

Only the HSBC Sears card offered it, and you could only get it if you were rejected for the prime Citi Sears Card.

You didn't get transferred to a real live offshore rep? I did, and as soon as I answered the ID questions they said congrats, you're approved for $500.
