Anyone know how likely GEMB will issue a card to someone who has charged off GEMB cards in the past?

I charged off JCP many moons ago and was approved for Amazon last year. I would love to get my TU FICO, but danggggg I don't want this card! Why can't they add this to all their cards? :cry2:

My strategy might be to get the WM Discover instead of the store card. It appears that there are reports of the FICO being available on the Discover as well.

I don't want that either, lol. Unless it's something with rewards that benefits me, I don't want to hurt my poor AAoA. :(

Up to 1% CB (after 3K annual spend), $0.10 off per gallon gas (at WallyWorld), oh yeah, AND a FREE MONTHLY TU FICO!!

If I put Wally gas in my beemer it will explode :P

This is bad, you guys are making me want to apply out of boredom!

I think this one is worth it. :)

Dangit... I don't really want this card, but if I were to try for it, it would be the Discover flavor of it. Decisions, decisions....

Ok, anyone here who decides to apply really needs to post which bureau they pulled and your limit. I want to see Bob get a $500 100 limit. :P

Fixed it for ya!

That's because Wally gas isn't really gas. Wouldn't be surprised if it had sugar in it.

Also, I have yet to see a Wally gas station here in California....so that 10 cents off doesn't do me any good. :dntknw:

Looks like the highest limit approval in Credit pulls is $4k, with most 1/2 that at best. Oy. :cry2: Go for it in Sept, Bob. Then I'll decide. :P

That was with a 675. Someone else had a 737 and got less than $2k. In fact, the highest FICO in there is the 737. :dntknw:

I have 12.5% UTIL, 1 INQ, AAoA = 6.4 and I'd guess around 650-660 TU score. Any scientific guesses? :D

I bet it's one of those deals where you are first considered for the Discover, if you don't meet the qualifications, you are considered for the store card.

Maybe everyone should wait till Thursday when the regulation to give scores with declined applications actually kicks in.

On-line or nothing for me because I hate going to these stores with enormous parking lots that are always full. I don't really even care about the limit since I won't be using the card. :P

Yeah I got the same BS, and what does "try again later mean"? I used my USAA/CS pulls for the day and can't verify if they pulled or not.

To answer my own question:

I called 1-877-969-3668, did check status (it's an actual prompt) for current application and the Indian CSR looked it up and told me I was approved for $1500 Discover.

As to why their website could not tell me I was approved...... :dntknw:
