I am not completely sure, but I think Walmart would provide the same score that GEMB uses for credit decisions.
Keep in mind that Walmart is probably providing TransUnion FICO 2004.
myFICO provides the outdated TransUnion FICO 1998.
I'm quite sure Walmart is using the updated 2004 algorithm and not the old 1998 scoring.
So, I would put more weight on the Walmart TU04 FICO, and ignore the myFICO TU98 score.
Just curious, how are you sure? I would love to dump quarterly monitoring also and I will if I find out for sure that this score is in fact TU04!
If so, I'm pretty positive GEMB is using the 2004 model, and not the obsolete 1998 scoring.
Since this is promoted as a real FICO, if it doesn't match up with myFICO, I'm betting 2004 at Walmart, because we know myFICO is providing 1998.
