SE Region executives must be a helluva lot nicer than West Region exec's. :)

Glad to see this worked for someone and you didn't get a FedEx letter telling you to knock it off.

Are you going to try your goodwill attack again, using these email addresses? Can't hurt to try, I guess; hopefully your snark-filled response to the FedEx letter didn't hurt your chances!

Yes, please let us know...

It was a old CO, I never paid .

That is what probably burns me the most in this. Mine was a charge off as well, but I paid it.

I have one too, and i paid mine as well, and its a from 2005. chargeoff/paid

Those are the e-mail addresses I gave to iWhat. Those are the people who sent me the FedEx. :)

I'm going to wait until iWhat gets the letter they sent and ask who sent it, then try to hook up with that person. I'm also trying a Jack Attack with the CRA's as several things are reporting incorrectly, like they are saying it was a loan, etc. We'll see what happens. Wish me luck!

I would also LOVE the contact info for the particularly helpful person. I have a PFD offer that always gets denied by the midwest region.

I am in the southeast.

Did you receive your letter yet?

Ok, so I had a lady call me and state that she couldn't do anything for me in regards to deleting the tradeline, but she would like the opportunity to "discuss" the account. She then stated that nothing was reported inaccurately on the tradeline. This tradeline should actually be marked IIB, but has not been as of yet. She left this information on the voicemail, because I didn't know the number so I didn't pick it up. She wants me to call her back tomorrow, and she is in the office from 8 to 4 30. Should I even bother to call her back? I was hoping she had good news for me. lol This obviously was not a month long term as it states on my CR. Should I refute that with her? What do you guys think?

I emailed these people and spoke to a woman named Tia. My situation kind of sucks because my wife was supposed to take control of the account and she told me she did, but apparantly they needed a copy of her license and it never happened, then my ex wife never paid the balance.

Tia (who was in executive relations dept) basically said as a main rule they NEVER delete from the credit reports. However i am free to dispute it with the CRA's.

I ended up paying the debt. I've been back and forth with these people for like 3 months and i think i got pretty high up the chain to hear the same answer over and over. They aint budging.

Well, apparently it is possible, since iWhat had success. We're all waiting patiently for iWhat to post the letter Verizon sent so we can get the name of a person who might be able to help.

Speaking of that, you get that letter yet iWhat? :)

Nothing in the mail today as for the letter I sent was a goodwill asking for delete,

I am sure it was John that responded.

I'd appreciate a last name and as much contact info as possible for John when you get it. I've already Jack Attacked the Verizon TL. Just got my first green card back today. If that doesn't work, I'll nutcase them. Something has to work. This is the last bad mark I have and it shows up on all 3 reports.

Thats interesting, persistence is the key though. I've had VZW and VZ (landline) both remove COs. I will say though - I did get a crapload of NOs...

Carpet bomb...?

Shoot, what's an NO? I know I should be able to figure this out... Maybe it's too late for my brain to be working... I have a verizon CO that WILL.NOT.DIE, keeps coming back verified, won't pfd, etc. Must do whatever I can to get this thing off.

Lol No! = nunca. Never. Absolutely not!

I'm away from my comp but send me a PM and I will forward you what I did but I basically carpet bombed the crap out of VZ and VZW. But let me know which one it is.

Started in investor relations and public relations until I got forwarded to someone who could help.
