I need an online checking, money management, budgeting tool. It needs to be online because DH and I have two checking accounts and one savings account and DH needs to be able to view the accounts when he can't access my computer (where we would have software like Quicken or Microsoft Money installed if we were going to install either).

I want something that will import from our bank accounts, let us add transactions and reconcile them, tag transactions according to what they were for (food, gas, utilities, etc). The adding transactions is most important because I want to see upcoming bills and payments and know what our projected cash is AFTER those payments.

Does anyone have anything they use or have any suggestions?

I use yodlee. It's perfect for me. Grabs from ALL my accounts, all transactions and puts them in the proper categories. (Even after i've personalized some of the categories, it remembers and puts the transactions there)

With both these sites, are they safe? I signed up for mint today but got a little freaked out when they wanted my bank login information. Have you had any problems or concerns with the sites?

Have had 0 problems with the sites in regards to security. Now some accounts have had issues syncing at one point or another, but that is usually due to the banks changing things on their end.

Not sure I understand the bank login problem. How else do you expect them to sync information?

I thought I'd just punch it all in like spreadsheet.

It's good to hear that you've had no problems with the site. I might have to give it a whirl.

Mint is Intuit - you can trust them, IMO.

I have everything with Mint (except my stoopid 401k, because it won't connect. GRRR! Is ok I guess - too depressing lately).

It does everything you mention in your first post, so it sounds like a natural.

I use mint.com and love it. Been using it for couple years now. Since its intuit so I trust it. Occassionally it adds duplicate transactions which I have to clean out manually so I try to look out for them. Also it runs into login issues with financial instituitions and not sync it but that can be fixed ....haven't been able to figure out why it happens. I however have noticed that mint shows notifications for bills even when I have paid them. Pageonce is good in this. This is something mint ppl need to work on.

I wanna know how are other websites for example...yodlee.com, pageonce etc.
