I was approved for Sears Today, $2000 limit requested $5000 but thats fine for now. They would increase if I allowed a personal pull and good credit

Got some useful info alot of which most of us already know but I will share any way

-Cards are either Net 30 or 60 depending on credit

-They usually only pull D&B but may also pull other two if they need more info

- All Citi backed cards like to see a PG no matter how good biz credit is but isn't required but improves your chances of getting approved and they may not pull if biz credit is good enough

- As we all know dont use scores given by CRA's, they create there own

- Industry code and location play large roll in approvals or denials. Meaning a Snow plow business in Florida will be higher risk then one in Massachusetts. If they pull multi reports and they have different codes they use the higher risk one

- Time in business goes hand in hand with industry code, so some business may get approved with only months in business and others may need years depends on the risk for that industry in your area.

This came from a credit supervisor who has worked for Citi for a long time and was very nice to talk to as we went back and fourth for a couple minutes and she mentioned if you ever get denied call up and find out why sometimes its as simple as a wrong number in a address or phone number or just missing info.

Hopefully this helps a little

thanks , how much did you request? and what did you put for your start date?

Also, did you include 4 trade references? Who did you put as trade references? Can you put other accounts such as gas cards? or Office depot??

Put down your date of incorporation, as Sears checks. For trade references, you can pretty much put down random vendors. I put my office supply store, the place I get my ink, newegg, and some other place. Sears didn't check.

FYI

SEARS IS NOT REVOLVING

CSRs will say it is revolving, but it is net 30/60.

I really wanna pull the trigger on this one, however, I'm worried my inc date 10/2008 will make them ask for a PG.

I have 10 payments rcd on D&B, 7 TLs , 2 cash experiences 750 High Trade , and $2400 combined.

EX is 56 3 Tl's high of $14000

I would go for it, if they ask for a PG just reapply in 3 months. Good luck

true. Thanks, how much should I request do you think?

I don't think it matters, they approve you for what they feel like approving. $1000 or $1000000 ;) My file wasn't that much different than yours, except for age, and they approved me for $6k.

Its def. net 30 or 60 ,it doesn't go by your highest trade. They look strongly at industry. She knew what she was talking about she didn't skip a beat answering the questions

I just left the trades blank since they ask for your D&b any way

I too applied for Sears Commercial One today.

I will let everyone know the outcome. Should I call them to see if approved or should I just wait?

Your thoughts are welcomed!!

I just called Sears.

The rep asked questions to verify the company information.

End result: $5000 credit approved.

Card will come to me within 7 to 10 business days.

Am I happy?

Yes! :P

My DNB info:

Company started 2008

Rating 2R3

Paydex 80

The highest "Now Owes" on file is $100

The highest "Past Due" on file is $ 0

My Experian is a nightmare.

There is another company with the same name. The only difference my company name has "USA" and the other company doesn't. They were established like 10 years ago, and they have 2-3 collections and judgments. Somehow Experian mixed up their information with my company and my company's exp file is very bad. I've been trying to fix it, but exp doesn't want to understand.

So, my exp is around 30s.

Did you PG? If not you probably have something reporting on Equifax.
