Automatic Counting of Inquiries For B*

This posting was approved by breeze.

 

I took the time to write two web apps to automatically count soft inquiries that actually count towards B*. There is one page for EQ, and one page for TU. The EQ page takes into account some of the oddities with EQ (echo inquiries that don't count, etc). All you have to do is paste the text of the soft inquiries on your report and click a button. It does the counting for you.

Note: I purposely did not include a lot of direct information on the pages themselves as to WHY people would want to count these inquiries.

He's not obsolete. He is actually chained to the server doing all the counting manually and returning the results. :lol:

Update:

 

The EQ version now has C* detection!

 

A couple notes:

 

- Fair Isaac entries are excluded. Many people don't buy FICOs more than once a month, so the entries appear the same way C* would.

- You need to have more than two pulls on from a given source. This is to improve accuracy.

- Obviously, if you only pull from a given source once a month you will have a false positive.

I love ASP errors, I deal with them all day at work...

 

Works for me - on and off the server. What are you pasting into it? Can you paste it here?
