U.S. Airways Barclay's Mastercard

I am a Canadian who would like to get a U.S. airways mastercard. I have no U.S. address or social security #. I have Canadian visa and mastercards. Does anyone know if if is possilble to get a Barclay's card? They say 'no' at the call centre, but that doesn't always mean a great deal.

This question is probably best asked in the US forum, but as far as I know Barclay's doesn't allow Canadians without a US address or SS# to obtain credit with them.
