I did a search and didn't see anything. I would think there are some members from last year who want to continue and maybe some new ones who would like to join in. Or those like me who started last year with good intentions!

I'm in...more or less. I'm back to 146lbs. :rofl::angry:

I'm on day 5 of being Nicotine free, so while I'm not actively trying to loose with right this minute, I'm hoping the no drinking (I can not drink if I want to stay away from cigarettes) will help cut down my calories enough that, along with the exercise I'm doing (walking the dogs/boy, treadmill, etc) I can loose this last 10lbs I need to work on.

Gotta have a beach bod by summer. Just gonna keep moving it along as I have been and find myself there! :offtopic: Having a gym partner works miracles! Even if you aren't on the same program!

Congrats on quitting smoking! That is awesome! :good:

I agree! Even if you are on opposite sides of the gym, it is more fun to go with someone. Plus the accountability to that other person helps with motivation.

For now I am working out at home on the treadmill, some DVDs, and Wii EA Active. I know I will outgrow that soon and hopefully my hubby gets a job and I can afford the gym!

Its a drink I get thru Advocore, I have two friends that are on it, no cals and good for you, tastes great, you mix powder into a bottle of water (like Crystal Light) I love the grape (tastes like grape koolaid) they have really lost weight taking it (helps with cravings and gives the boost you get with coffee or pop), I wasnt sure about it first but after seeing the before and after I was impressed seeing them in person nailed it, no special diet, just eat right and excerise.

There are a few NFL players that swear by it.

my bad habit is, if I feel I ate bad during the day then I figure

crap day ruined start over tomorrow forgot the gym.

I need to hit the gym no MATTER what I ate that day.

My first goal is to stop the soda and no more fast food at lunch.

If I have a piece of chocolate I shouldnt feel bad about it.

Truth.

No one is perfect, you are not going to eat 100% healthy all day every day. The key is BALANCE.

IMO there is no such thing as "dieting" - just a lifestyle change

I'm in maintain mode like always. I am working on getting "stronger" this year.

I'm in ... I refuse to say the word "dieting" this year ... I'm changing habits.

Less eating out for lunch (trying to cut down to once a week). We do go out once a week for dinner, usually Friday or Saturday, and I'm loathe to give that up. But I do intend to make better choices on what I get when we do go out (God help me when we go for Mexican!).

Exercise - admittedly it will be very very slow because of my arm. I prefer weight training to cardio, so when I can alternate I do ok. But for now I can really do is cardio. I'm just going to run with it, so to speak. ;)

Prep meals twice a week - once on Sunday afternoon and once on Wednesday evening. That way we can just pull them out and cook them instead of giving in to ordering fast food or stopping to pick up something on the way home because we're both tired.

Hopefully these things help.

I'm a little over 150 and I'd like to get down to 140. I'm not in any rush, so I'm not starving myself, just making better choices and seeing how that works out.

That is what we need to do, bad habit, to tired to cook, just get fast food.

OK, I need to loose 25lbs. I used to weigh about 150 now I am at 180. I was at 210 this same time last year (I looked prego and I am a man!). I need to quit smoking, I quit for 1.5 yrs and started this March again. I am single now so I eat out alot or eat those frozen meals in a bag from bertolli. I can cook real good, just do not see the point being single...

I have NO oomph to work out. There is a local gym up the road that just opened. I want to sign up there but feel stupid going alone..I am an active winter bowler so that helps *a little*. I would like to be down to 160 though by late spring early summer. This past summer when I split from SO I lost about 25 lbs in one month.

I ended 2009 in pretty much the same place I started it....about 100 pounds overweight, give or take. I did introduce some good habits...got back to riding my horse regularly, picked up a fun new workout (hula hooping), and started buying a lot less junk and cooking more.

I would like to lose *at least* 50 pounds in 2010, and develop a LOVE - a craving, even - for exercise in the process!
