Credit successes of the day.
I applied for BP gas card a week or two ago. today getting the mail I recieved a card from them. approved 750 dollars NO PG. Also applied Amex Blu for Biz denied but was approved for their gold charge card for buisness. Then on personal got my new Chase Platinum Marathon MC in mail gave credit line of 900 dollars so I was not very thrilled but hey. so I figured I will ask for more they asked how much I said 1500 more would do me good. called back later that night they gave 2400 more for total of 3300 man I am suprised ...
well I am happy with that for the day. THanks guys

I also learned that Crate & Barrel doesn't actually issue a corporate card but they do have a special net 30 program for businesses who purchase on a regular basis - my contact there: jlyons@crateandbarrel.com. Sorry - don't know if they report to D&B But I'm gonna use them for some Christmas gifts for some of the clients!

Thank you CB.. I have a new motorcycle shop, and although we have credit terms with some major vendors, I have discovered, much to my chagrin, that none of them seem to report to anyone. In the 3 years we have held accounts (net 30) with these vendors, NONE have ever reported a thing..... PLUS, Since I was "credit dumb" then, I put up PG's for most of these acocunts we have set up (many new ones recently) and my personl FICOS have taken the hit....
But thanks to CB, We got our first card. Just a small step forward, but wouldn't have done it without CB.

I began my business credit process last March 2004. During that time I was approved for Staples and AMEX Business Gold. I also setup an account with Fed Ex and Office Depot. By July 2004 Items were finally reporting to my Duns report and Experian Business Report. By October 2004 I received a paydex score of 80. Let me tell you as soon as this happened the business credit approvals started rolling in! Just a month before I applied for an ExxonMobil Business card with 4 items reporting to Duns and same with Experian. They sent me a letter stating I was approved for their secured card program.. All applications were either through the Internet or by facsimile. I am very impressed how easy business credit is to obtain once you have the credit report in place. Most credit my company was extended has been given through Citibank.
