Congratulations. What a wonderful feeling to see a score jump that high.
In my limited experience I found that TU had bigger fluctuations in my score. EQ seems to be more steady and not as steep. Okay, that probably didn't make sense. It's a little hard to explain what I mean, but I'll try---
When my TU was sitting in the 640s, it would flounder there with only tiny insignifant changes, but would never change to more than 650 and never less than 630. Then one day - BAM, it would jump to 690. Then it would flounder there for a while, never more than 700 but never less than 680. Then one day - BAM, it would jump to 740 and then, as expected, it would flounder around that mark for a while, never going higher than 750 and never going below 730. And then one day - BAM, it jumps to 788. And that's where I am today. I haven't checked it since my last BAM.
I honestly can't think of the precise time frame those BAM things would hit. I'm thinking 4-6 months. And not really a whole lot would change on my credit report between each BAM.
Whereas, EQ in my experience was a slow steady climb to where I am today.
Please don't think I'm trying to downplay your experience. I know you must feel good about it and I would never try to dampen your buzz. I'm just relaying my own personal experience with TU, that's all. Hopefully you're at 773 and will stick there until it goes even higher.
(note: BAM is not an acronym. Just simply BAM. Lke the sound it makes when I hit my head on the door frame when I get out of my girlfriends car.....every....damn....time....BAM)
Anyways, I would love to hear your financial recovery story Quasei2. If you find time, please post it.
Heh...it seems it's just you and I in this forum. Might just as well get comfortable eh?
