CCA has decided to be clever and place duplicate collections on my 3 CRs, one with ATT as the OC and one with Cingular as the OC. Same amound, same everything. What's the best plan of attack for this crap?

These guys are on my sht list

I DV'd them as part of my inital triage and they "repaid" me by reporting to EQ where they had only been reporting to EX before.

No worries, I think I got them where i want them

CCA did the same thing to me. And I don't even owe AT&T anything (they're my cell phone provider)! Someone used my cell phone account to order themselves some new phones, not knowing that AT&T would send them to my address only. I sent them back, all was resolved, and then these jacka$%es from CCA place an account on my reports (2 on Equifax).

I'm about to hit 'em with the Texas Finance Code.

I blacked them out, but the amounts are exactly the same. What makes it so bad is that they tried this crap with me before with only EX but it was a quick dispute and removal. Now they're going all out and have changed just enough on the "new" listing to make this somewhat harder.

I am fighting these monkeys as well. They do not play fair by far. I have them on multiple violations but I am attempting to use the BBB and the AG before I sue them. I would suggest the AG help you on this one.

Before I go to the AG, should I go through the regular process of validation, dispute, etc., just to make sure all my ducks are in a row?

Any luck on your part, yet?

Dispute BOTH as duplicate...YOU MIGHT GET LUCKY AND BOTH GO POOF

Oh God, I hope so. That was going to be my plan of attack in concurrence with sending DV letters to them (not that I expect them to respond). If that doesn't work, then I get nasty with AG, BBB, etc.
