Did they start calling you again?

They tried calling me twice last night. Didn't answer of course. I got Nco removed last month, and now they're calling me again. Course they could be calling for my ex roommate but they didn't leave a message the two times they called last night. I just find it strange I haven't heard a peep from them in well over a year and a half, and they're suddenly calling again.

I don't have any other debt with them. The other one that they did get a C&D from me, I paid back BOFA for the overdraft checking earlier this year. The other one, I haven't sent them a C&D yet, but just disputed it based on the amount they wanted with the Cra's and got it deleted, since I know how much the OC. was Just curious if they started calling anyone else when they got deleted?

Most of my debt is cleared up now so I have no idea why Nco would be calling me other then for the one I got deleted but I'm working with the OC (who is no longer reporting and hasn't been for quite some time), and should be paying them two payments of 150.

anytime NCO starts calling again after they drop something, it is usually a new-old debt. They seem to circle thru all my old crap stuff and I get something from them at least once a year.

Yep! Dh had an acct that I sent a ltd C&D and DV and they stopped calling but a week later, they were calling again. I thought, YES! They are in violation. Nope--they found another acct.

See.. here's the thing. I know who all my accounts are with.. so i'm assuming they're trying to collect on the old phone bill I had and I never sent them a LC&D for it (well before I found CB). Plus I'm working with the OC on that. However, I'll keep a watch out for any mail from them. Last night they called at 4:45 then 8:30ish so the clock is ticking :aggressive:

that's my experience as well.

I've never understood the point of dodging phone calls. Answer the phone, get the info needed to write the LC&D and send the letter on its way. Much less annoying than the phone calls.

I got them deleted a couple of months ago and haven't heard a peep. It was a medical bill that my insurance should have paid and was out of SOL. Was the debt you got deleted inside of SOL?

Ya know, I'm not sure.. it was for an cancellation fee + one month service (dsl+ regular phone line) I'm sure it's probably well out of Sol I haven't had DsL since probably 2002 or 2001.

Because Ca will like 100% of the time? I'd just rather stay off the phone completely when it comes to Ca's.
