I will post a copy of the medical collection letter my wife received from a medical CA. The fonts are the same as in the letter. The CA did provide the proper disclosure on the back but, I think an attorney might see it as overshadowing. This is not their first letter but, I cant recall ever getting anything from them prior to this letter.

 

I am learning about med. collections now, so im new to this part of repair. Just wanted some thoughts on this letter because the CA might be violating privacy in the letter. Thanks all! (WhyChat, you do a most excellent job here. Thanks for all your effort.)

 

 

AVOID FURTHER ACTIVITY

 

Dear BobbyDebts Wife

 

You have had the opportunity to pay the $6xx.xx you owe OC, yet you have repeatedly neglected to do so. Your doctor determined that you needed certain laboratory tests. Our client performed those tests as ordered and has a right to be paid.

 

If you believe that the amount you owe is too small for us to pursue, you are mistaken. Send your payment of $6xx.xx and we will not need to take further collection steps. Any further delay will force us to continue to attempt collection of the outstanding debt.
