r u talking about the amex or line of credit? i know we still have our line of credit for my wifes store but she does high volume purchasing every month, it did get decreased by about 25% though despite perfect in full payments. on a side note though, i guess they r trying to broaden their customer base by now accepting food stamps...

Yes I was talking about the store card. Not amex. Does anyone else have any input?

It is issued by HSBC. I still have the costco store card issued by hsbc.

Great. I did not even know you could fax it. I thought you had to apply in store and we don't have one in columbia but I am going to charleston this weekend and thought I would apply there. Let me know how it goes for you!

BTW - You need a costco membership prior to faxing in your application.

If you have used the northern tool and paid it back it will only help you.

I thought there was a 3-6 month waiting period between HSBC accounts? My nothern tool account will be 4 months old at the end of this month, so hopefully I will not get flagged.

You should be okay with 4 months in between. I don't think it will be an issue.

I got both of them the same week. In fact the same underwriter called me both times. When I called for the Northern Tool I spoke to an underwriter to check on the application and all went through fine. A few days later the same underwriter called me back to make sure I also wanted the Costco and he approved it on the spot. This was about 4 months ago and I know Costco is now only pushing the Amex and in store they dont even have literature for the HSBC account so I dont know if they are doing away with it.

 

Personal HSBC is completely different and its an instant denial, Must have 18 months between cards.

Sam's has a store card, but is issued by GE money, so it is NOT easy to get. They also offer a Same Discover card.

Thanks Hopefully, I can convert this to a revolving TL with the limit intact. It will get a LOT of use if they let me revolve purchases, rather than PIF. There is only so many 5 gallon drums of mayo a man needs

Since 06, D&B has me down as 08 though. I always put 2006, since that is what the SOS has.

I started my biz as sole proprietor in 2007 and formed the LLC in June of this year and D&B refuses to change my information even though I offered to fax them my tax returns to show I started business in 2007. They told me if I buy the credit builder, they can update.

The sales reps @ dnb are something,they called me last week trying again after about a yr to try and get me to buy the builder. They're do desperate right now they offered the builder on that call for $138, I thought to myself this wouldn't be a bad deal if I were just starting. So then after the call I thought I would go on their website to see if there was anything new being offered and I see that what she was offering was this new builder that is limited in what it can do and realized again that their sales reps will tell you anything to get you to buy!they are good scammers!
