This is an usual question maybe, but I'm hoping someone may have seen it done before --

I have student loans in Canada totalling about $9600 CAD that I have been paying through a Canadian account for years. This is a bit of a pain in the flowers, and I though that while interest rates are low that I could 'consolidate' them here.

I've tried with the CU that does my car loans, and through Chase which does my deposit accounts by they won't touch them. Is anyone familiar with a bank or program that will do these? The interest rate on them is 4.75% floating, and 'regular' loans that I have seen are offering rates at 8% or so, which I'm not interested in

Thanks!
