Last year around janurary-feburary of 2009 I called into the Direct Loans Servicing center, explained the financial hardship I was confronted with and put a forbearance on my student loans for 6 months, while the forbearance was supposed to be in place I was given 2x60 and 1x90 day....after my forbearance was up I was able to obtain a in school deferment and that’s when I noticed the lates on my CR this Sept 09.... Now I am focusing on cleaning up all my credit I was wondering how I should proceed with Direct Loans. Should I send them any letter? Should I dispute the lates? What should I do?
