Do you know of any FHA Mortgage lenders that pull from only Equifax? My FICO scores are Equifax - 629, Experian - 608, Transunion - 543. Most of the lenders suggested on LendingTree say they use the middle score which falls below the FHA 620 limit.

I have another bank that says they can go down to 580. However, when they pull my scores it's differnt than what I get. They say my middle score is 579 and suggested I go with a credit repair service with their rapid rescore to bring it up one point. That confuses me. I don't know why their scores would show so much different than what my pulled FICOs show. I get a feeling that it may be a scam looking for credit repair kick backs.

I'm trying to get a 100-120k loan with 5% down. I'l also willing to pay a couple of points.

TIA!! smile.gif

welcome to the boards
I doubt it is an effort to scam you on credit repair
If you dont qualify they cant help
they want to help

Not knowing where you pulled your scores it is hard to say but they do change frequently and there are multiple ways credit is scored

I do not know of any program that will use just one score
those programs went away with the subprime lending

good luck

Thanks. My scores are recent as of Friday. I pulled them directly from the individual bureus and also from My Fico so I don't understand how his scores are that much different.

What is your utilization at the moment? If you only need a few points you might be able to get that by paying off some util.

To answer your ? no one is just going to pull 1 cra

My suggestion would be to post your report in credit forum and see what you can do. Maybe some 1-2 punches etc. DO NOT HIRE A CREDIT REPAIR COMPANY!

I have only sent a couple of people to credit repair.... simply because they would rather pay someone thando it themselves. You can do better yourself.

Never heard of a mortgage company not using all three bureaus.

Thanks all. I have no UTI as I only have installment loans, no CCs. I have a high student loan currently in forbearance, unfortunately I have some late pays as I didn't know it had come out of forbearance. I have a car loan, no lates. I have some old collections from Medical before we had insurance.

I've opened a Kay's and Jareds, only $400 each. Waiting to hear from JB. I was approved for Orchard & HSBC but don't know how much. They are mailing them to me. Not sure how much that will help my credit score. Fingers crossed!!

Until then I'll plug away. I'll be starting a few disputes soon as there is some misinformation.
