It's one of the monitoring services - TU based I believe...

Macy's has been doing soft pulls on my EQ report almost daily for the last 6+ months. Free B

Are you using credit watch to see your EQ softs?

Because that often will lead to reverse B* (choppage)

Nope, this is based on my EQ hard copy, and EQ backdoor. No way I am risk getting chopped.

FYI: For those getting C* and never used an EQ product the guess is that pulling via the backdoor is causing it.

I haven't used the backdoor or an EQ product for over 3 years and I still get choppage on EQ :)

I have never been chopped. I am using CCT, MPM, and MCK. Inqs are usually gone in less than 30 days. Prior to using MCK, inqs took 35-40 days.

I haven't been able to determine if these are helping with B, but I believe they are. My last inq fell off in about 24 days, right before I signed up with MCK

Anyone have a clue on why this is happening? I have no plans on calling Macy's, partially because I am afraid of AA and also because these could be helping me.

Thanks Trevor!

dumb question: since i don't have any soft inq entries from macy's on EQ at all apparently then they probably exist on my ex, no? (where they don't provide free or any B* at all  )

Hum, maybe this is a reason for me to get a Macy's card finally. The only one that checks my reports frequently (not as frequent as macys though) is AMEX.

probably. I'm not sure how routinely macys does an A/R on most members. This is the first time I've heard anyone mention near daily A/R from macys...
