Mine died today and the repair is anywhere from 9500.00 to 14,000.00 I am disgusted it is a 2006 with only 274,000 miles on it.

Anyway here is where I stand credit wise

EQ 630

TU 638

EX unknown

1 cosigned repo from Oct 2006 on EQ and EX only

6 Co's that are going to fall off around June and August of 2010.

TU is by far my best report, the co-signed repo has been deleted but I can't get it to bounce off EQ and EX

Only ONE of the CO's show a balance all the others are 0

I used this as a company vehicle without it I have no income.

With what I have listed above is it even worth it to try an apply to get a new one?

That is a lot of miles. I would say you got a lot of good use out of it. Wouldn't you say?

Good luck in getting approved.

There are financing options for pretty much anyone as long as you have a downpayment or trade in. I was approved with a low 500 credit score several years ago w/ a $4k downpayment. Best bet is to find a dealership that has a good finance manager and some connections.

With that kind of mileage and repair cost, I bet his truck is a diesel which in that case isn't that much mileage.

Depends on your application variables.

What variables would that be?

It would appear, or at least I read into your postings here, that you would be self employed. Correct me if I am wrong.

If you are, then a loan application would probably be scrutinized a bit more than for someone in the same circumstances that was a W-2 employee.

Yes I am self employed, I am prepared to show Sched C's

Other then what is above you know everything. EX FAKO score is up to 575 this morning, still at the same for EQ and TU

Oh, wow...didn't know that. Well, in that case, I retract my statement.

Sans the credit application posted and with just the information you have presented in this thread, I would predict you are approvable for an automotive loan.
