One hospital, many CA's and accounts

Daughter's CR ((Experian), TU didn't have it and Equifax, we couldn't view )showed a collection for a medical bill from our local hospital. 31.00. So sent a letter to NCO Medclr. Came back undeliverable. Was going to send that info to the CRA.

 

In mean time, got a letter from another CA, showing 3 items from this hospital, for for 39, 13, 24. total 77.xx. (Sent them a DV, got the card back) on the 14th

Then Friday, got ANOTHER letter from a CA, a local one this time, for the same hospital, for 18.xx and 198.xx. (will get a DV out to them as well)

 

She has insurance, and was there for a couple days in 12/08. Nothing since that I can recall. Maybe an xray or something beforehand. Certainly not 6 items.

 

What I was going to do was to call the hospital and make sure that these are all hers.

 

Then go beyond the free credit reports I guess so she can check any changes there?

 

I probably need to read the medical collections area as well, Well versed on non medical credit issues.

 

This hospital doesn't play around with outstanding items, they are quick to go to collection. Wish they had worked with her, she has insurance but wasn't working for a long time due to rehab.
