I opted out online about 5 days ago. Today, I sent letters (CM) to all 3 CRA's requesting previous address deletion. So now I wait for a response, right? All of my medical collections (8 in total) are as follows--

All are through NCO Financial

1.) Balance: $649 -- DLA: 06/07

2.) Balance: $538 -- DLA: 11/06

3.) Balance: $26 -- DLA: 06/07

4.) Balance: $546 -- DLA: 03/06

5.) Balance: $648 -- DLA: 01/06

6.) Balance: $416 -- DLA: 05/05

7.) Balance: $668 -- DLA: 09/03

8.) Balance: $182 -- DLA: 09/03

I didn't have insurance at the time! Ok, so after I find out whether or not the addresses were deleted, I follow up with this letter, right? -- http://whychat.5u.com/hipaadisp.html

Yes, don't worry if you can't get all the CRA's to delete all your addresses, or if one or more of the accounts don't get deleted with the first dispute from one or more of the CRA's, you are on the right track.

I am confident that most of these are valid debts. However, I cannot afford to pay them off all at once. I wanted to tackle them two at a time. I know this will drag out the process, but is it still possible to do? Once the debts are validated by the CA, do I just send the OC letter with insert A with a separate payment for each individual account?

DO NOT send any $$ to anyone until you have completed the entire program.

These may have been "valid" debts to the original health care provider at one time, but they were NEVER valid debts to any scum scam CA/JDB

In all likelyhood, NCO has NO authorization or assignment from the OC and can not legally collect on a medical debt because they can not validate the HIPAA protected private medical data.

Got my letter from TU today. They deleted my address as well. So, I got a response from all 3 bureaus. EQ and TU deleted, Experian said no. So, now on to the pre-HIPAA letters, right?!

That's right, time to send this:

Don't forget they need to go certified mail without the return receipt.
