Got a letter back from chex

"This letter is in response to your recent communication regarding information contained in your consumer file at ChexSystems.

 

Please be informed that your file has been fowarded to the appropriate personnel for handling. If a reinvestigation is necessary, we will contact the source of the information to request that they verify the accuracy and completeness of the information they submitted to us."

 

What do I do? Did they verify it or not? They sent me a reinvestigation form with it.

That is a form letter that they send to every. Ask for a re-investigation. I generally do not tell people to use the forms that they provide but to send in your own letter www.chexsystemsdisputes.com

I think in next few days or weeks you'll be getting the formal letter of dispute and validation. I received the same one just like that you mentioned and after a week or so I received the formal dispute, which I'm going to answer with Second letter from chexsystemsdisputes.com

I got a response saying that they have verified it. It also says,

 

"The source of the info has requested that you contact bla-bla-*249 to obtain additonal info."

 

Im sending in the second letter.
