Hello all I called in to hsbc to ask a question, and they informed me that they have a daily credit monitoring service for their cardholders for I think $8.95 a month and the first 30 days free. The website is www.mycreditkeeper.com they even sent me a hard copy with score of course FAKO. Just thought some of you might be interested also sends you a letter via mail every month with any changes to your credit report for that month or when you have a change it sends a letter letting you know what it was.

Creditkeeper used to be a daily pull service until they switched to one report per month. They claim "they monitor" your report daily. Yeah, sounds good..but...

I love how their description is so nice and vague.

 

On the other hand it's cheaper than TC.

You would think they would offer a lower monthly subscription fee to their own card-holders.

Even if it did b* inquiries with daily pulls, I'll have my monthly fee and the CRA can keep the inquiry but HSBC is a little annoying with their aggressive marketing of CK (basically every time you call, they offer it, so I don't call them much :) )

well poot thought I had done a good thing by telling you guys about this service, I just found out about it today and used it for the first time today. Guess maybe I should go on and cancel it, I'll see what it says tomorrow under track your score if it lets me pull another report I'll keep it along with CCT if not Ill cancel.

I agree with Bob here. You got excited about something that would benefit all of us CBer's and we are all appreciative of that :) I was just being sarcastic don't mind me :lol:

Yeah, I just went through two months of trying out all the free trial services to see which were actually worth paying for and CK was fairly useless.

 

However, if there's a magic trick I'd love to know about it!!
