I have about 60K in loans currently and I am a public service employee. Since finding out about this program, I am thinking about going to get a PhD degree within the next 6-12 months. Currently, paying back loans. If I begin to borrow, will this amount be included in the foregiveness at the end of 120 payments?

I really dont think you can add loans in the middle of paying.....you would probably have to go back to payment 1 again. Call the Doe and ask.
