CB's WHIPPING BOY WHAT REWARDS DO YOU GET FROM THIS CASH STUFF??? "AVAILABLE" is not debt That credit card fee is TAX DEDUCTABLE (don't MICRO-MANAGE the fee at the expense of paying business) GOT YOUR 4506-T READY YET??? MEMBERSHIP HAS IT'S REWARDS HAVE YOU BEEN AMEXED??? My ID is the signature on the back of my credit card--AND IT DOES NOT SAY C.I.D. I have a license to drive a car/truck...it is not a permit to use my signed credit card DOES KNOWING YOUR SCORE HELP YOU PAY YOUR BILLS??? Don't forget the DOWN-SIDE to using DEBIT CARDS (unintended consequences) Disputing ACCURATE ADDRESSES can have side effects (LOSS OF POSITIVE ACCOUNTS) OBAMA-CARE WILL COST HOW MANY $1,000,000,000,000's why can't I opt-out

I hope the change is not for the Plus card too. Hopefully I will get my last $250 check if they ever update my rewards. I knew something was happening. I called to see if I could request my check over the phone and was told I have to wait until my rewards udate. I am sitting with $200.03 in rewards waiting to hit the button.

Is the $30 Freedom Plus upgrade (first year fee waived) still available to retain the rebate structure?

There aren't any other good options with Chase to choose from. I might just combine the limit with my Amazon.

I have CHASE UNITED VISA and FLEXIBLE (was WAMU)
When the FLEXIBLE BT (carry over from WAMU) is PIF I will probably do a 2 into 1 and close FLEXIBLE

By the way, I love how Chase sticks to their usual MO of deception masquerading a rewards cut as some sort of new benefit. On the outside of the envelope was this promising statement: GOOD THINGS ARE COMING FROM CHASE FREEDOMI don't call a cut from 3% to 1% a "good thing".

Don't want to pull out the "P" word...but that was what they did with some funding for schools (more than a few years ago) $10,000,000 increase from the prior year "CUT" to only $8,000,000 increase ($2,000,000 "CUT") AMEX dumped "ALWAYS DOUBLE MILES" on 01/01/2009 That helped HOW???

So let me get this straight, Chase believes they are going to reverse their losses by butchering the rewards on credit cards? This will encourage more business from their customers? This reasoning contributes as to why they are in the sewer to begin with...

BofA recently butchered World Points and we all know how Citi has butchered several good rewards cards. What's next, the return of annual fees for most cards?

(possible) +1 I was just about to convert my non-rewards Chase VISA to a Freedom card but now am thinking seriously about combining it with my Amazon VISA, instead.
