Alliant uses Chex and pulls a hard on Equifax. They seem to want a minimum 620 FICO for checking.

I believe they will run a chexsystems report going by the only response that they have given to me at this time when I asked if they ran a chexsystems report for a savings ONLY

I need to edit my statement above...I was denied online but received an email that said that I was approved and that a packet would be sent. I called the 1-800 line and the guy basically told me the same thing. He said generally with ChexSystems they have to do a manual review of your report and CR.

So it may be just smoke or it may be real deal. I guess I'll see in 7-10 days. smile.gif

Me, too. But I didn't get a second consideration...yet, anyway. I'm more upset that I spent $25 to join the National PTA.

Watch Alliant..they will open an account, send you checks, and by the time you get the checks, close the account. Happened to a coworker.

If they didn't give me such a generous credit line, I would close my credit card account. I find their "cashless bank" employees to be rude and snotty.
