is it normal for a SL to report your social security number as your account number? and can this be removed/corrected?

 

this is an old SL account that is closed & transferred because i defaulted on it. but i dont like the fact that my social shows up on this tradeline.

 

any fix for this?

that's how all mine show. either ssn or ssn101, ssn 102, etc for the loan #s. if yours SMs are at least reporting accurately count yourself lucky

actually, none of my credit reports match on the Sallie Mae loans. so obviously there is some inaccurate and incorrect information on at least 2 of them.....

 

how can i get a copy of the actual real loan doc from Sallie Mae?

 

this is probably pretty impossible i'm assuming without a court-order?
