I honestly think that with you being military, you should be good to go. They asked me what branch and rank and for 5 bucks for the savings acct.

 

I have a vehicle repo, 5 collections, bunch of 30s and 90s and got in.

I am in chex an requested my report and they pull chex but I got in anyways

No chex CU. Great customer service and a great potential for future business.

 

My only regret is that I am going to miss my current bank which was great to me.

Just opened up checking...no chex. They did ask a series of id questions.

I can confirmed they did a soft on my EQ when I applied, it took a week to get approved, very nice folks!

I'm finding it difficult to get in. You go through the online wizard and it clearly says:

 

"You Selected Family Member

This includes those whose family members are currently a member of Navy Federal or eligible for membership.

 

 

They told me on the phone the family member has to be a member before I can get in.

 

So, I mailed in an app with a screen shot. We'll see what happens . The worst they can do is say no.

YOU MUST be eligible for membership or they will not approve you
