Hi all...

I'm about to get a student loan forbearance. Also in the next couple months going to move into a place that requires a rental application/credit check. A few years ago I had a forbearance and ordered my credit report - though the loan was listed as "current" then, there was also some kind of note saying there was a forbearance or deferment in effect for that account. If my prospective landlord (or anyone else, for that matter) orders a credit check on me, will that forbearance status appear?

I know they don't affect one's credit score, but I can imagine the knowledge that I'm delaying student loan payments might give a landlord pause. I'm guessing that note was only there because it was my *own* credit report, but would like to confirm this before I go ahead with the forbearance.

Thanks.
