Thank you, hegemony. I had never heard of this before.

When I read something like this, it feels like something from a bleak futuristic movie.

I did a google search to learn more, and I came across this FTC document:

http://www.ftc.gov/os/2000/03/transunionop...ecommission.pdf

I skimmed through the pdf file. Is this type of ranking such as "Upscale Retail Card" something that is part of TransUnion is now forbidden to do ?

Are you saying that if you had a NM care or whatever this is what some of the creditors are looking for when they approve you for a card of theirs?

does Big Lots count ?

If it not, it should be on the list. They have fine selection (outside of General Dollar) to chose from.

After a TEASE like THAT, how could I resist? :yahoo:

I figured the well-dressed CP HAS to have this in the portfolio.

Got approved, signed up for online access, then...

Hey! There's no credit limit on the account!

Had to call in and ask how much I could spend on the next spree.

$5,000 will have to do, I guess. B)

Bob

P.S. I hope centex is gone for the weekend.

Congrats. I have SAKS & Nordstrom, but AMEX Plat has always been my neiman card.

I assume they allow more than 5K at a time, or a least shortly after becoming a customer...?
