Also a couple installment loans since the BK and one that I just paid off that was a student loan, never late, carried through the BK and open since 1998, paid off in June 08.
Do you think I have a shot at getting this card? I don't even mind a low CL.
Unless someone has another suggestion.

my CL is now 10K, but the card has little in the way of rewards. why not get a cashback card, such as Patelco mastercard?
I actually looked at Patelco today - that might be something I will do.
I'm off work till the 10th so I'm bored and in credit mode these last few days...

I think you should check into joining Navy Federal Credit Union and trying for one of thie cards if you qualify for membership.
In the meantime.... go read that thread and BE PICKY!!!!! Dont get anything with an annual fee, etc. You have enough toy cards... look for one worth a few thousand. Maybe WAMU or Providian.
That Aspire card you have makes me cringe.... its prolly loaded with fees.

They'll probably approve you, $300-$500. My experience was the same as Curious' .........only less the $10K part.

I don't use my Lowes card for the rewards but for the 0% apr they offer. I just bought a refrigerator last week at 0% apr for 12 mos. Saving 18-20% in apr fees is much better than 1% or 2% cash back for me.my CL is now 10K, but the card has little in the way of rewards. why not get a cashback card, such as Patelco mastercard?
ETA: The OP had asked about getting a store card earlier so I assume that's why he's inquiring about Lowes.

Go to the Bankruptcy Forum and check out their "Bankruptcy Friendly Creditors" thread. Start from the LAST PAGE and read backwards because the begining of that thread is so old and outdated. Study at least 10 pages and see what others have obtained and their scores, length out of BK, etc. Do your homework. Dont just apply for cards as you think of them. Try not to apply for cards that youll never use. Maybe look into a gas card like Valero.

It is getting cancelled just as soon as I can either get some luv from one of the others or get a new card to replace the CL amount so that my utilization doesn't go over 10%. I use my HSBC for gas so with gas prices, it ends up around $400 every month even though I PIF at month-end, and that's what gets reported to the CRA's. I'd close it now, but I'd hate to lose $1000 of available credit.

BTW - don't you have to be IN the Navy (or a veteran) to join NFCU?

I agree with Hegemony, if it's for small purchases then try for a regular CC and use that instead.

Why dont you try for Wamu or Providian? They were good to me with frequent auto-increases. Occasionally they toss a BT deal of 1.99% too. Plus they give you the free FAKO score every month. With those installments and cards I dont see why theyd say "no".
I was thinking of them.
They send me pre-approved/pre-selected stuff every once in a while. Am I better to wait for the next one, or is there a website I can go to?
Thanks for the help. I didn't mean to "shoot down" the NFCU idea, but I really have no connection to any of the membership possibilities!

Depending on your reason for obtaining go for it or get another card that you can use and pif as others have suggested. I am in Lowe's and HD every weekend.
All I need now is an easy Mastercard that give rewards and not BT fees.
