73 & 74 here. Still nothing on the IRS website. Filed in January with TT but had the fee taken from our refund. I've resigned myself to the June 20 date rolleyes.gif I'd love to know why the IRS sent out some paper checks early.

I got mine on the 2nd. I don't make much money - retail/customer service. But I got a D/D for about 375. All the other people I work with are getting 600 something. Why is that? Would this be affected by stocks I sold during 2007 by that much?

Just wondering if anyone can shed light... huh.gif

I'm glad to hear some are getting updates now. I've checked a few times today, and nothing yet. As I've said before I'm sure we're gonna be one of the last to get stimulated. huh.gif

I also thought they were done with DD's, but I guess not.

Yea! I got my paper check in mail today. Last digits are #15 and we filed with Turbo tax but opted to pay fee out of refund so that set us up with a paper check. Got letter last week paper check would be mailed by 5/23 and check came to us (live in NYC) in today's mail. Closest IRS center is Philadelphia and it's printed on the check that's where it was processed and mailed from. Hope this helps some people.

Got ours in the mail today- $1893. Kind of a weird amount that I can't figure out why but I'll take it. (Me, DH, 3 sons, no taxes owing).

Filed through H&R Block in Jan, DD, payment taken out of refund. Last 2#: 16.

Well, we didn't get our tax rebate. Turns out the SL place took those. I am not sure how when they had to return all of our tax refund since I don't work and it was all DH's. IRS had told me that they would take HALF of our rebate and apply it to my SL that is currently in rehab.

Guess no one knows what they are doing. THis really peeves me.

I learned this today!!

Your total Stimulus payment was calculated as $1,800.00 and consists of the following:

* Basic Amount: $1,200.00.
* Qualifying Child Amount: $600.00 (Based on 2 qualifying children).

Your payment of $1,085.62 is scheduled to be issued on June 6, 2008. If you do not receive your check by July 4, 2008, please contact us again. We are unable to take any action until then.

Yippeeee Skippy!!! I am going to pay some credit card bills and get carpeting in my living room!!

Look! I finally have all my FICO scores!! I officially have the "8" credit cards in my wallet that the "average" American has.

My # is 36 and I filed in Feb using Turbo Tax. They took out $715 which is the correct amount that I would owe the federal government for this years taxes. (Hubby's # is 51 so they are going off mine, I was the primary.)

Cheryl - is that according to the IRS "Where's my Stimulus?" tool?

https://sa2.www4.irs.gov/irfof/IRServlet?app=IRACTC

I thought I was supposed to have a direct deposit on the 16th, too, until I found out about the loophole with people who filed with turbotax but had the fee taken out of the refund. Now I'm waiting for a paper check dry.gif

Well I've been checking other forums on statuses for these rebate checks. And it's all random. There are people with #'s in the 70s who have gotten their check, or will this week. Then there are some of the early #'s who won't get their check until after the 30th.

Contrary to what the IRS says, it doesn't matter if you filed late or early, or what your last 2 #'s are.

My brother got his paper check on Saturday. Last 2 #s are 14. Filed with Tax Cut opting for a paper check mailed to him.

He didn't get the full $600, though, only about $375. My other brother, who made maybe $2k more than him, got a letter saying he would get the full $600 (not sure when, he's 12). I just told my mom that he could get the rest on his 2008 refund.

ETA - Neither of them had a tax liability of $600 for 2007??

Anyone with the last two between 52 and 57 waiting on paper checks? or still getting the error message?

Thanks
