Marlin - did you get that info off the website? We're still getting the error message and DH is 27 - I'm also expecting that we'll be getting a paper check. The 23rd would be great news to me since the posted schedule says our number should be 6/13!

Well got my check in the mail yesterday, still doesnt show anything on the website though. Its a weird amount, $200 and some change. I thought I read a post here that they deduct for state as well. Is that true? Because if so that amount would be correct. I guess I will need to call the IRS today to find out what they deducted. In either case in the bank you go!

Lisa, my SS# ends in 93 and I still get the error message. I owed taxes (this year) and prepared my taxes through Turbo Tax, paid my fees via credit card, and did ETF for the payment. I did list my checking account number on my return (it said to do this if you wanted your stimulus payment via direct deposit). Not sure if the owing part is going to put me into the ones that get a check or not. I did notice though that when I printed my return recently to send to my son's school for financial aid, the numbers for my checking account were X's in the box. I do know I put it on there however when I was doing the taxes. That may have been a glich and may end up giving me a check instead of direct deposit.

There shouldn't be any tax deductions from state, unless you owe state back taxes or something.

I was trying to make a revised check schedule, based on everyone's replies. Thought it would possibly cut down some of the confusion and frustration, as the only thing stimulated for me is my blood pressure. Some numbers have 2 separate dates, again I'm going by replies thus far on this thread.

00 - 09 5/9, 5/16
10 - 18 5/2
19 - 25 5/16
26 - 38 5/16
39 - 51
52 - 63 5/16
64 - 75
76 - 87
88 - 99 5/9, 5/16, 5/23

Please post last digits to help me fill in the blanks.

dry.gif My last 2 are 54, I paid for my filing fees and had DD. I thought I would get my rebate the same. I filed in Feb. I get the error message. I was hoping to get DD by now so I could pay off Home Depot and get some stuff for the house. 12 months/no payments tongue.gif

But I guess I am complaining for nuthing, after all I could not be getting any rebate. So will sit and wait, any one else on this boat? search.gif sorry.gif

QUOTE(prd2b @ May 13 2008, 01:46 PM) *

I found one point interesting in a frustrating way:

Your children don't qualify. Parents are eligible for an additional $300 for each dependent child. But the payment is available only for dependent children who were age 16 or under on Dec. 31, 2007.

So it doesn't cost anything to raise a 17 yr old? Where is that thinking coming from? Not to mention the costs of sending a child through college who's 18+. ( I know some kids support themselves & put themselves through college, but there are many who don't).

Our kids are still younger, but this makes me mad anyway. I could understand 17 or younger, but why 16 or younger?
