So is the IRS website correct? Are they still going to send out the paper checks for 65 on June 27th?

So I did rapid refund with my taxes. I'm getting a paper check? My last two are 65. So doesn't that mean I'm getting my stimulation June 27?

From what I hear, RALs are going to be paperchecked. But check the Where's My Stimulus on www.irs.gov site to see when your check will be cut, IF, you're able to get any information from it... lots of people were getting the error message.

added to say the rich arent getting a dime of the rebates over 75k income or 150k married

You consider people rich ( husband and wife) working making 150,000? Did you know that the successful people in this country(you would call them rich) pay 93 % of taxes. So hardworking successful people get taxed more while lazy people pay less. No wonder it'so adventagious to sit around doing nothing. laugh.gif

Jamie S. Gorelick, deputy attorney general in the Clinton administration and a chief policy adviser to Hillary Rodham Clinton, is rumored to be a possible attorney general in an Obama administration. She was vice chairman of Fannie Mae and sat on its board of directors.

A spokesman for the Obama campaign declined to comment, noting only that former Fannie Mae CEO Jim Johnson stepped down from his campaign post in June. His resignation came in the wake of charges that he collected more then $7 million in home loans at special, below-average rates.

On Sunday, Obama shied away from commenting.

Obama loves the bailouts since most of fannie and freddies former ceos work on his campaign.

Well, $150,000 would most likely go a long way in South Texas. laugh.gif But I don't know that I'd necessarily agree with what I've highlighted in red. My husband and I work our BUTTS off. Just because we aren't in the position to be making six figures a year doesn't mean we're lazy. Nor does it mean we "sit around and do nothing." glare.gif

However, I don't agree with the original comment by tgsweat. This stimulus check isn't about "evening out" the rich vs. poor. It's *actually* about stimulating the economy (or at least that was my impression), which technically the "rich" can do much better than a truly "poor" person could. dntknw.gif That's not to say that poor people cannot or do not help the economy--they just spend a higher percentage of their income on it, than the rich may (unless we're talking about the Britney Spears' of the rich--the ones that try their hardest to run through it as soon as they get it laugh.gif).

Seabee - When I called the IRS this AM, I was able to verify that they had the correct bank info. Which they did. So I know they have the info.

My original thought on this whole stimulus thing... They should have kept their mouths shut. If they wanted to get them out early, than so be it. People would have just gotten an early "bonus". Now we just have millions of confused people. Because they weren't clear on how they were going to get these payments to people.

I guess I don't understand how TT got paid. Hopefully you can shed some light on this. If your actual bank info appears on your tax form, the only other way I can think of for TT to be paid is to split the refund into two accounts. Unfortunately this would also move you into the paper check category. Unless I'm missing something?
