Got approved for Chase Ultimate rewards! Thanks CB'ers!

I just got approved for Chase Ultimate rewards with a $7500 limit! Thanks everybody! Tu is my best at 756, up from low 500's a year ago. Combined with my AMEX Blue I got last week I should be set! I owe it all to those here on CB! These are my first 2 cards in over 7 years and to be honest I thought a year ago I'd never make it!

I actually got a preapproved offer from Chase for an upgrade from my Chase Gold card to the Ultimate Rewards card. Is the latter a better deal as far as APR is concerned? Isn't there an annual membership fee with the Chase rewards card?

Congrats!! Nice limit too. That's what I started at.

 

I've had the Chase Ultimate Rewards card for a couple of months now. I called retention about a week after I got the card and they lowered my 8.99V apr to 6.99 fixed. Another member actually got 5.99 fixed by calling retention.

 

No fee for reward if you have the Chase Ultimate Rewards card, but if you sign up for Ultimate Reward on you regular Plat card, I beleive there is an annual fee.
