we went to target today and I got a pre-approved thing receipt :unsure: I didn't see it until just now and was gathering the receipts out of my purse... holy cow!

LOL no my debit (mastercard logo) card as I always do.... could be because everytime we walk in there it is at least 200 bucks LOL

Next time you go in, hand it to the cashier to scan after they ring up your merchandise. I did that and was approved for a 3k Visa.

Make sure they know its pre-approved, some post i read here, cashier or customer service person messes it up some how, I think they just have to scan it? not sure but be on you toes when you take it in..congrats and good luck

It's good :D I believe the cashier scanned mine AFTER my merchandise was scanned. They did scan the barcode on the preapproval. If you are approved, you will get 10% off whatever you are buying and will know your CL immediately.

LOL ok.. well she didn't even tell me I got it... and I take my receipts and shove them into my purse until I get home and file them. I pull them out and this was there.. My DH just rolled his eyes and said "great thats all you need" LOL

Make sure they scan your recipt when you take it in, i've read a bunch of posts of people going in with the preapproval and they don't scan it and just enter it as a cold app. You'll probably get approved for a $200 store card, but some people have seen visa preapprovals come up.

I'm still waiting to get my preapproval recipt. I could probably get approved if i apply cold now, but i just really want to get the recipt.

Also, make sure you do it before the expiration or it will expire and poof! be gone!
