DH has accounts with Amex, Citi, Chase, and HSBC so between the 2 of us we have a lot of the major players covered.

A+ although more gold stars would be issued with an oddball like SFB visa or RBS mc in the mix.I'll bite. List of open revolving accounts:
PenFed PCR: $25,000
Citi DPR: $20,000
Merrill+: $17,500
Discover Motiva: $10,000
Chase FR: $6,000
BoA Amex: $5,000
BoA Visa: $5,000
Citi PS: $3,600
Wamu Visa: $3,000
Amex Clear: $1,000
Chase Marathon: $800
My only store card was an Elder-Beerman card which I closed, but still reports as open.

certainly your scores are proof of your strong performance in class.See sig ... considering I only have 8 cards, I think I'm doing OK. I have a relationship with a 3rd CU, too, but only for auto loans because I was not impressed with their CC.
DH has accounts with Amex, Citi, Chase, and HSBC so between the 2 of us we have a lot of the major players covered.
Penfed $15K
Amex $15K
US Bank $12K
Discover $9.5K
WSECU $6.5K
BofA $6K
WaMu $5K
Chevron $1.5K
perhaps at some point consider more obtuse issuers such as Lexus visa or the Enlightment card. Another CU would not hurt either. But, in general you have some good options.

I'm currently concentrating on CLI only, as I am looking forward to two upcoming auto loans. After those are obtained I'll start playing around with some oddballs and chopping off my older accounts with the low limits (even if that means best-of-breed Amex). At least one more CU would be nice too. I'll look into the SFB and RBS cards. If only the blue ball bank was still around.

I got lucky a couple times and bought from the double rewards stores without even realizing it! I'm not earning as fast now because I'm splitting my shopping with UPromise. Love cash back!

not bad, probably a B+ but I would recommend a couple more issuers, such as patelco, DCU, SFB, or perhaps a local CU.
