Hey all!

After discovering this forum; I went on a short spree of my own :aggressive:

I am a student and have a very short history, 6 months. I have a citi mtvU card for the past 6 months (4000$ CL).

I applied and got approved for Discover (1000$ CL) and Chase (800$ CL) student cards. Also got a Cap1 card from a pre-approved offer (the sad 500$ CL).

I applied for Chase on Tuesday and checked the automated response yesterday. I was hoping for a higher CL. I was thinking of calling them up and asking for a higher CL. Or should I wait till I get the card and ask for a CL while activating?

I had an Equifax FICO of 703 on Monday. Dunno if it has changed. Chase pulled EQ which had 3 INQs in past 6 months.

I am done applying for a few months now.

This forum has loads of info!!!!

Congrats on the cards! I would wait until it's in hand and ready to activate before asking about the CLI (but that's just what I would do!)

Also, Chase will probably pull another hard for your CLI request, whether they give it to you or not.

I have two EX hards sitting there from Chase for trying to get them to re-open a not-long-closed account (of course they didn't re-open).

I wouldn't try CLI at activation. Every time I try that I get shot down. Maybe just wait a few months 3-4 and try for a cli. Should be easy considering your scores.
