From a Atty's office that represents JDB, I know, I've dealt with the Attys. 2 inquiries in 1 week in July '07.

Probably looking to see if you have any bank info listed. Chex also shows checks orders from certain companies that they own. From this an atty could find out where you bank. That's why I don't get checks beyond what comes in the little set when you open an acct.

Ah, I see. You're exactly right. About the time these inquiries were listed on this report, an Atty. representing a JDB was trying to get info from my bank and I sent them, the bank, CMRR, that all of my deposits are exempted by both state and Federal statutes. I also sent copies of my deposit sources (Retirement Pensions).I cited the state and Federal statutes to them and have never heard no more.
