If you get the Fico Standard, you only have to pay once and can see your current credit report and score. But you won't be able to monitor any changes to your score in the future.
Also, it's worth noting that you're paying monthly for a quarterly report.
In other words, over those 3 months you pay for the first quarter, your score will be the same.
If you plan on checking your score again in exactly 3 months, and you can remember to cancel the subscription, then you'll save $17. Otherwise, the benefits decrease towards a $1 savings per quarter. Actually, more like $0.75 if you're using the promo code.
