This just doesnt look right. Why did I bother rehabbing the loan if its going to look this bad.

Is this correct? If not, what requests can I make to get this TL updated or even removed completely.

Nothing you can do. With rehabbing only the guarantor of the loan is required to update their tradeline to positive. Citibank was your lender/servicer...they are no obligation to change their tradeline.

That's what I thought, and posted as much on your unrelated thread in the Credit Forum.

You could try a goodwill... can't hurt.

I am having the same problem with a loan from 1995 that I rehabbed. If you have any luck, post your methods! I'm trying a goodwill letter to USA now.

If you look at the sticky at the top of the forum, it shows that lenders are required by the HEA to report for the full SOL of the loan. Federal law.

How is your loan reporting?

After my rehab program, Equifax & Trans Union showed no negative remarks and my score rose 50 points. Experian still has not updated their report and score plus they are reporting several loans totaling more money then I owe. I only have one student loan.
