Private loans after BK?

Has anyone ever applied for a private school loan with a BK and been approved?

 

If so, where did you apply?

 

I just happen to see a commercial for Astrive59.com and looking through the facts on their site, it says they are credit based and I was just wondering if I would get approved with a 5 year old BK.

Yes. I have a BK form 2002, since then have received private loans from Sallie Mae and my credit union.

My apps were done as a sole applicant, but you can always add a co-signer for a better rate.
