I've just about maxed out my student loans as I have finished my second masters' degree - and since I'm a teacher at a community college, I may consider getting a doctorate on their dime, so I may still be in deferment even though I'm not paying them for a couple more years.

I have like 30 student loans (all guaranteed by Texas) and the interest rate is in the 5-6% range.

Should I wait until I'm done - or go ahead and get them wrapped up into one? I AM done taking out student loans though.
