Can you tell us what you told HD when they asked in the app how long you have been in business ? I have noticed that others, as well as myself, have required PGs for corps in biz <3 yrs.

keep plugging away. a different underwriter may well give it to you. call again with the ref number and see if another underwriter sees things different. make sure your requesting a reasonable amount. you can always CLI easy afterwards/
I know, I just hit the luck of the draw. I said no when they said I needed one, called back to recon, and sure enough the exact same rep answered the phone (and this was a day later at another time). So either I was super unlucky or there aren't a ton of citi reps working the HD desk.
Any which way, I did PG, got a much higher line that way thinking it would affect my future lines (amazon, sams whatever). Getting it to report though is something I am kind of fearing given my reporting issues this year so far.

the PG request for 3 years is Very hit and miss. I've seen oodles of businesses here alone that were 3 months old get HD without a PG. I've done it with my first business as well. I think it may be in print and a few underwriters go by it, but would speculate many others do not.
PG is a * guideline*, one that is used for most business.
However credit history, company finances and other factors can overcome that handicap.

Here is my issue / question.
Would it be ok to Pg for a Home Depot account ? Use this account for a short period of time say 3 months, Close the account off on the 4th month, And reapply for a Home Depot account only this time without a pg. The reason i ask this is because im about to speend 5k at Home Depot. (remodel one of my homes)
A little history about me: In bus. for 2 years Inc. 01/01/2012 started building bus. credit 01/01/2012
D&B = 10 AVG = $4650
EX = 2 AVG = $ ??
EX = 1 AVG = $ ??

After you've had the account for a while and have shown you can make timely small/large purchases, ask them to convert it to a non-pg account.

Why would you close the account? Unnecessary.
