Hello Everyone!

I'm in the process of rehabing my defaulted student loans & repairing my credit.

I recently looked at all my three reports and to my dismay found a ton of Charge-Off's from my student loans. Is there a way to get these cleared off? Has anyone had an success? If so what was your method?

Any help is apprecited! Thanks in advance

Have you read any of this forum???

Once you have completed your rehab, your guarantors trade line will turn positive. However any tradelines reported by your lender/servicer will remain the full 7 year reporting statutue. The HEA requires that lenders report accurately.

Yes I've read some of this forum. But these are companies that don't even have my student loans anymore that are all over my report. The company that I'm paying to now is listed on there and they are reporting the correct amounts & info. But the old companies are still on there with $0 balance & charge off in the negative credit sections. The old companies are the ones I'm concerned with.

The old companies are the lenders/servicers who defaulted you. They are reporting legally and will age off at seven years after they were paid off by the claim. You are stuck with them, even if you rehab.
