One of my presents to my wife was a Coach purse I got a great deal on at a Coach outlet store in Ft. Myers just before Thanksgiving. Can't go wrong with giving a lady Coach for Christmas!

My hubby's not into Coach...I can barely get him to wipe his nose and get the crust outta his eyes everyday, lol.

I'm trying to turn him into a 'pretty boy', but he won't let me!

Guess that means no Coach for him, but more Coach for me....I can live with that!!! :blush2:

Disclaimer: Hubby isn't really a scrub. He just won't primp. Won't let me wax his unruly eyebrows. Won't let me give him a manicure....what's the word? Metrosexual?? :dntknw:

My wife was at Nordies yesterday shopping for me. No idea what she got (of course), but it'll be something good.

I really wasn't into Coach until I got my first wallet from there. Since then, I've never looked back. My wife, meanwhile, is a Coach slut. She has a purse for every day of the week. And the little wallets that go with the purses are almost as much as the purses! That's the part of the Coach stuff that I hate; the accessories for the purses are nearly as expensive as the primary item.

I have a lot of Coach bags. I am more of a leather than signature girl though.

My DD is 15 and has a liking to Coach as well.

Coach is in my top 5 of handbags.

I haven't tried Coach. My faves are Fossil and Dooney Bourke. How does Coach hold up are they worth the $$ spent?

I can only speak from a male's point of view. The wallets hold up extremely well. The gals seem to love their Coach products, though. The leather holds up nicely. Not sure about the non-leather portion of the bags, though. A gal will have to chime in here.

I have a Coach signature that's held up amazingly well. (I'll admit I'm pretty tough on my purses. :dntknw: ) I've had it for 2 yrs now and the only thing is that its gotten "dingy" because of the winter white color.

Pretty sure dh bought me a new Coach for Christmas (bust shhh!, I'm not supposed to know that. ;))

I've had Coach bags for years now. They aren't my most expensive, so I carry them daily. They hold up well.

If you need repairs done to the bags you can send them in.

I insure my bags and would suggest it for others.

$72 on Target card.
The rest $200 on my debit card, so it came right out. I did the Target card because I needed the item shipped from Target.

I do have $800 in old debt though from when I was between substitute gigs and I was putting nearly everything on my MC. Will pay everything off in January.

For some reason, this year it feels more like "X-Mas" and less like "Holidays". Anyone else got the same feeling?

I may have bought a few small things on credit but that is only because I got them as required purchases while mystery shopping and I prefer to use my credit card and then when I get paid I pay what I charged. Otherwise, our budget was around $1K and it was all from DH Xmas club thru company credit union.

This year we got something for everyone in my family and none of it was stupid stuff, several peeps wanted clothes and I later realized, most the guys got new shirts w/ smart aleck sayings and the gals got jewelry but nothing outrageous. We didn't even go overboard w/ DD, she got a few new DVDs and quite a few new books. Also got her a maneyjar that counts her money as she adds it. DH got me an absolutley wonderful gift, he swiped my only decent pix of my parents and had it painted as a large portrait. I don't know what he paid for it but he insists it was well worth it when he saw me crying. And my sibs love it so we made photos of it for them.

We also bought stuff for one of the other kids at the bus stop. His mom wasn't going to be able to give him Xmas and because of work schedule she wasn't able to get him on a charity list. So DH & I bought him a bunch of stuff and got the one thing he really wanted, the movie CARS on DVD. And she didn't know it but we got her a few small things too.

And now every year we will not be charging because DH has the Xmas club. And I buy a few things throughout the year, if I see something and I know someone would love I buy it if I have the cash.

Felt like Christmas to me

...except for the absence of decent covering of snow, that was the one thing that would have made it nicer...

We just found an Albertson's that was open. Just made it in with five minutes to spare.
